WEB SITES OF INTEREST TO FRANCISCAN
YOUTH
Marian College is very interested in having faith-filled young men and
women as students, particulary if the spirituality of St. Francis and St. Claire
appeals to them. We have a program called "Rebuild My Church." The
program was described in the article "Vocations: New Encouragement on Campuses"
that appeared in the May 2005 issue of St. Anthony
Messenger. For more information, click on the link below

The First Order
of Franciscans is made up of three orders of Friars. All of these friars
live by the Rule of 1223, written by St.
Francis of Assisi. The Conventual Franciscan Friars date back to the days of
Saint Francis. We were those early Friars who ministered in large urban
areas and lived in houses called "convents" and thus the name Conventual.
